Medical Imaging is proud to announce the successful installation of Namibia’s first Dual Source CT Scanner.
Computed Tomography (CT Scan)
All our branches offer CT scanning services, with cardiac imaging only available at Roman Catholic Hospital.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
We offer an extensive array of MRI services, including Breast MRI and Whole Body Diffusion Weighted Imaging.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is available at all our branches. It offers a quick and effective first line investigation.
Mammography
A mammogram is an X-ray picture of the breast. Doctors use a mammogram to look for early signs of breast cancer.
Fluoroscopy
Fluoroscopy is a real-time X-ray investigation, providing anatomical and functional information, available at all our branches.
Musculoskeletal Imaging
Joints, bones and soft tissues are thoroughly imaged by a variety of modalities.
Cardiac Imaging
Multiple modalities are employed, ranging from Ultrasound, CT and MRI depending on the symptoms and recommendation by the referring physician or specialist.
Prostate Imaging
Multiple modalities are employed, ranging from Ultrasound, CT and MRI depending on the symptoms and recommendation by the referring physician or specialist.
Bone Densitometry (DEXA)
Low dose X-rays are used to determine bone density, used as a screening tool for the detection of osteoporosis.
Emergency Radiology
Medical Imaging provides a 24-hour emergency radiological service in Windhoek and Swakopmund, covering all major medical disciplines.
Oncology Imaging
In close partnership with our colleagues at the Namibian Oncology Centre, we provide a systematic and thorough service for oncology patients.
Interventional Radiology
Invasive procedures are performed by radiologists for various reasons, e.g. drain insertion for abscess or pleural fluid drainage, biopsies of suspicious lesions, etc.
